Yellowstone Wildlife Health Program

Wildlife in the GYE play a significant role in both healthy ecosystem functioning and as an economic resource. Exotic diseases and parasites are an increasing worry for sustaining healthy wildlife populations. The purpose of this project is to establish a long-term program focused on understanding and addressing priority wildlife disease and ecosystem health problems in Yellowstone National Park. BSI is a partner with Yellowstone National Park and the University of California at Davis in the cooperative Yellowstone Wildlife Health Program.
